KCP Moves to Build Its Knowledge AI, Advancing Toward Agentic AI and Beyond

KCP Moves to Build Its Knowledge AI | KAI Initiative

King's College of the Philippines is taking another major step toward institutional innovation through KAI — KCP Artificial Intelligence, an institutional initiative designed to build AI capability for the whole KCP community.

With Phase 1: AI Exploration now completed and Phase 2: AI Infrastructure-Building approved, KCP is moving forward in developing its own Knowledge AI foundation as part of a long-term strategy to strengthen and streamline school operations.

KAI is an initiative that aims to move the institution from scattered information toward unified, secure, and intelligent access for its stakeholders. More than individual use of AI, this program positions artificial intelligence as an institutional capability that can support better coordination, faster access to information, and improved services across the school.

The initiative was proposed by Ginard S. Guaki, Director for Technology Innovations and Resources, and approved under the leadership of KCP President Ae Jin Kwon, recognizing KAI as a worthwhile and strategic direction for innovation, operational efficiency, and future readiness.

Through KAI, KCP begins building the foundation for Knowledge AI, with a long-term direction toward Agentic AI and beyond.
