Basic Education Clinic
The Basic Education Health Services are established at the school site to promote the health of students through disease prevention, early case finding, referral for intervention and remediation of specific health problems.
The school health services are vitally necessary in order to provide first aid and triage for illness and injuries, to provide direct services for students with special needs, and to provide health counseling and education for students, staff, and parents.
Services
- Annual medical and dental examination of all students and employees.
- Out-Patient consultation (provide assessment and render appropriate intervention)
– Minor Cases (e.g., Headache, toothache, dysmenorrhea, dizziness, bruises etc.) - Initial treatment of emergency cases. (before sending to the nearest hospital)
- Health Measure Activities. (Lectures on medical concerns of the time)
- Comprehensive Oral Health Program -DepEd Order No. 33, s.2019
– Tooth extraction, Cleaning and Prophylaxis - Annual Height and Weight Monitoring (Body Mass Index) and nutrition (SF8)
- School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) if possible, to address hunger and encourage learners to enroll, contribute to the improvement of their nutritional status, provide nourishment for their growth and development, help boost their immune system, and enhance and improve their health and nutrition values.
Target Patients
The Basic Education Clinic caters students from Kindergarten, Elementary, Junior High School, Senior High School (Grade 11 and 12) and employees.Â

- To restore health and function of the stomatognathic system
- To preserve health and treat illness
- To save lives, relieve suffering and maintain the dignity of the sick people
