Program Overview

Rooted in Scripture, Formed for Ministry

The Bachelor of Arts in Theology at King’s College of the Philippines is designed for individuals who desire a deeper understanding of the Scriptures, Evangelical and Reformed theology, and Christian ministry. The program provides a strong foundation in biblical and theological studies, spiritual formation, and practical ministry, equipping students to serve God faithfully in the church and society. It also prepares graduates for advanced studies in seminaries or universities.

Graduates are prepared for various ministries such as pastoral work, missions, church planting, Christian education, and other forms of ministry leadership. As a government-recognized degree program, it also provides opportunities for teaching in public and private schools, particularly in the areas of values education, ethics, and religious studies.

Beyond church and educational ministries, the program equips graduates with critical thinking, ethical leadership, and effective communication skills that are valuable in both the government and private sectors.

Currently, our graduates are serving faithfully in a wide range of vocations. Many are engaged in pastoral ministry, while others serve as teachers in private schools and the Department of Education (DepEd), police and jail officers in the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), social workers with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), overseas professionals, and in various other fields. Wherever God calls them, they seek to integrate their Christian faith with excellence, integrity, and service to others.

The program offers a comprehensive curriculum blending biblical languages, systematic theology, church history, and practical ministry training. Students engage in hands-on learning through internships, community outreach, and local church partnerships.
