KCP CLINIC
The Basic Education Health Services are established at the school site to promote the health of students through disease prevention, early case finding, referral for intervention and remediation of specific health problems.
OBJECTIVES
1. Restore health and function of stomatognathic system.
2. Preserve health and treat illnesses
3. Save lives, relieve suffering and maintain the dignity of sick people
SERVICES
Medical Services
KCP Clinic offers essential health services to students and employees, including annual physical and medical exams for early detection and prevention. Out-patient consultations address minor ailments like headaches, toothaches, and dizziness. Prescribed medications are dispensed, with some available for free if supplies allow. The clinic provides initial treatment for emergencies before hospital referrals, along with health education and counseling to support overall well-being.
Dental Services
The clinic conducts annual dental examinations and offers dental prophylaxis (cleaning) and extraction services. Through the Oral Health Program (DepEd Order No. 33, s.2019), the clinic ensures proper dental health. Furthermore, it aims to restore the health and function of the stomatognathic system to maintain oral health.
Health Monitoring and Nutrition
The clinic performs annual height and weight checks, including Body Mass Index (BMI) assessments, to track the students’ and employees' overall health.
Emergency Care
A critical service offered by the clinic, which provides first aid and triage for illnesses and injuries. The clinic also delivers immediate response to emergency cases before sending patients to the nearest hospital, ensuring that the health and safety of everyone are prioritized.
