KCP Clinches 3rd Place in Grazing Table Contest, Promotes Wellness at Adivay 125th Anniversary

In celebration of the 125th Foundation Anniversary of Adivay with the theme, “HEALTHIER BENGUET: A Treasure to Relish. A Culture to Cherish,” King’s College of the Philippines (KCP) proudly joined the 2025 Provincial Skills Competition, showcasing both talent and service in line with the province’s advocacy for wellness, heritage, and excellence.

Representing KCP in the Grazing Table Set-Up Competition were Mr. Marjon S. Quilladas and Ms. Shane Kimberly P. Basilio, who showcased creativity, culinary artistry, and cultural essence in their elegant table presentation. Guided by their dedicated coaches, Mr. Gerald U. Kinchasan and Ms. Jerisa Claire E. Bacudo, the team demonstrated skillful styling using local resources, traditional food elements, and innovative table aesthetics inspired by Benguet’s rich culture. Through determination and teamwork, the KCP team proudly secured 3rd Place among competing Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) in Benguet.

Alongside this accomplishment, selected students under the Health Care Services program offered free wellness services, supporting the celebration’s health-centered advocacy. Guests and participants received complimentary Blood Pressure Monitoring, Blood Sugar Testing, and Blood Typing, reinforcing the theme of promoting healthier communities in the province. This service provided an opportunity for hands-on application of student competencies while extending valuable support to the public.

King’s College of the Philippines extends its gratitude to the Provincial Government of Benguet, the organizers of the Adivay Festival, and the community for the opportunity to contribute to the promotion of health, culture, and excellence. KCP remains committed to nurturing globally competent, socially responsible, and service-driven learners who embody the values of skill, compassion, and cultural pride.

Indeed, a healthier Benguet is a treasure to relish and a culture to cherish made stronger through unity, service, and the pursuit of excellence.
