In celebration with the 35th National Statistics Month, KCP – College of Information Technology alongside other Higher Education Institution in Northern Luzon attended the 2024 Regional Data Festival held at Subic Bay Travelers Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone on October 3 to 4, 2024. This year’s theme, “Advancing Data and Statistics through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation,” highlighted the pivotal role of digital innovation in the field of data and statistics.
The event featured a series of insightful discussions and engaging competitions. Experts and enthusiasts alike gathered to explore the latest trends and advancements in data science, statistical analysis, and digital transformation. Topics includes Economic Plan (AmBisyon) 2040 by NEDA, PSA Services, Data and Statistics: A key to Addressing Filipino Youth’s Sexual and Reproductive Health Needs.
Among the notable participants were Denie Kirstine Liwanag, Lryn Cuyangan, Lorenz Calderon and one of the Faculty Members, Wilfred Maskay from College of Information Technology of King’s College of the Philippines, who showcased their skills and knowledge. Their participation paid off as they secured a commendable THIRD RUNNER -UP FINISH together with UP – Baguio and MPSU to represent the CAR among the participants in the competitions.
The festival not only provided a platform for learning and collaboration but also celebrated the achievements of young talents in the field of data and statistics. It was a testament to the power of digital transformation in driving progress and empowering the nation.
