With student camaraderie, sportsmanship, and talent, the overall Acatechture Olympics 2023 champion goes to… College of Criminal Justice Education!
The Acatechture Olympics 2023 are a pioneering college competition that showcases the talents and skills of students in various fields of arts, technology, and culture. The event was held from November 15 to 16, 2023, at the King’s College of the Philippines.
The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), the College of Information Technology (CIT), the College of Teacher Education (CTE), the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), the Junior High School (JHS), the Senior High School (SHS), and the College of Accountancy (COA) competed in an exhilarating display of athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship. While the competition was strong, it was the ideals taught along the way that ultimately counted the most. The departments’ outstanding performances validated the event’s subject, “Bridging Academics, Technology, and Culture for a Sustainable and Carbon Neutral Tomorrow.”
CCJE won first place in six categories: Debate, Sanaysay, Digital Visual Art, Video Making, Sabayang Pagbigkas, and Speech Choir. CCJE students also joined other events such as Folk Art Painting, Extemporaneous Speech, Statistics Olympiad, and Quiz Bowl.
In addition to the commitment and service of the CCJE Student Body Organization leaders, the following students composed the dedicated CCJE team:

Serving as their coaches are CCJE faculty members, Mr. Jeremiah Lopate, Ms. Ericha Joy Gonadan, Mr. Ruben Gambulao, Mr. Johnmark Dawaweng, Ms. Blessie Joy Menzi, Ms. Paulino Ralna, Ms. Joyce Binlang, Ms. Rose Tingcawa, Ms. Donecia Sallatic, Ms. Cherry Hoyanok, Atty. Mylene Nginsayan, and Ms. Fairybelle Liwayan. Â This demonstrates that the CCJE prepares students not only to be competent and disciplined graduates in the subject of criminology but also to demonstrate their abilities and skills in numerous competitions.
The CAS finished as the first runner-up. The CTE came in second place. The Acatechture Olympics 2023 were a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exemplified the core of CCJE principles and what it takes to represent the CCJE spirit.//FKL
