Trade Technical Education Department of King’s College of the Philippines held a face-to-face graduation rite at the Ebenezer Convention Center today, October 20, 2023, honoring 105 TESDA Scholars and 15 regular trainees.
Dir. Arlene L. Cadalig, acting Provincial Director of TESDA Benguet and Ms. Jirah Siddayao, representative from the Office of the Congressman Eric G. Yap attended the ceremony.
Atty. Rolando T. Vergara, School President, welcomed all the graduates, visitors, and guests. It was followed by the presentation of graduates delivered by Ms. Ruth Claire C. Waclin, TTED Supervisor, and confirmed by Dir. Cadalig.
“Aim to continually improve your expertise and this will set you apart from others in your field,” Dir. Cadalig said to the graduates.
On the other hand, Ms. Siddayao highlighted that the TESDA Scholarship they received is not just a stroke of luck but a precious opportunity for personal and professional growth that can truly shape their future.
The program was concluded through distribution of training allowance to the scholars of Driving NC II and Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II.
The TESDA training was under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) for Automotive Servicing NC I , Tulong Trabaho Scholarship Program (TTSP) for Driving NC II, and Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) for Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II and Automotive Servicing NC I while Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC 1 was under the regular training .
Scholarship was through the initiative of the Office of the Congressman. //
