In a significant accolade to its commitment and collaboration, King’s College of the Philippines (KCP) was awarded the Community Relations Token by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) on the occasion of its 32nd anniversary, celebrated at Newtown Plaza Hotel, Baguio City.
The token is a prestigious recognition from the BFP for public and private entities that have notably contributed to the advancement and success of the bureau’s objectives and vision. The awarding ceremony, themed “Modernong Bumbero: Kaakibat Tungo sa Ligtas at Maunlad na Pamayanan”, exemplified the ideal synergy between public servants and stakeholders working for a safer and more progressive community.
Dr. Angeline T. Bugtong, Vice President for Administration, graciously represented King’s College of the Philippines to accept the esteemed token. “This recognition solidifies our unwavering commitment to supporting initiatives that ensure the safety and welfare of the community. We are honored to be recognized alongside Ifugao State University as the only academic institutions to receive this token,” said Dr. Bugtong.
