Our heartfelt congratulations to the KCP community for enthusiastically participating during the Benguet Teacher’s Day Convergence 2021 “Gurong Filipino: Katuwang sa Hamon, Kasama sa Pagbangon”, hosted by the Province of Benguet and Spearheaded by Hon. Fernando Balaodan, Sr.
After an intense virtual competition screened and judged by the well experienced and competent adjudicators, the King’s College of the Philippines’ Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School Departments won First Place in their respective categories as Talentadong Guro, while the College Department took third place.
Highlighting these feats are Ms. Marina S. Comot and Mr. Dumayag B. Alinao who were adjudged as Outstanding Teachers (Private category) in Benguet Province for Elementary and Senior High School, respectively.
Indeed, behind every accomplishment is a story to tell – that even in the midst of battling the most challenging COVID-19 which drastically changed the educational landscape, the KCP community showed their resiliency by reinventing themselves and repackaging their experiences in order to overcome the limitations imposed by the pandemic. In this
instance, one can observe the firm determination and innate competence of the KCP community, coupled with camaraderie as observed during the event.
To the awardees, you are truly an inspiration to everyone, in spite of the challenges at hand.
Once again, on behalf of the KCP Family, Kudos for a job well done!
